Instagram data deletion
If you connect your Instagram account to Hootenanny, we use it to show you where your followers are, on the Fan Finder map in your artist dashboard.
What we store
Your Instagram username and account type
A list of the cities where your followers are, with the number of followers in each, saved once a day
A secure login token that lets us fetch that information for you
We never see who your followers are, and we never post or message on your behalf. We only receive city totals.
How to disconnect
Open your Hootenanny artist dashboard.
Go to the Fan Finder and click the Instagram button.
Choose Disconnect.
This removes your login token immediately and stops us syncing any new data. You can also remove Hootenanny's access from within Instagram, under Settings, then Apps and websites.
How to delete your data
To have the rest of your saved Instagram data deleted, email [hello@hootenanny.io] from the address on your Hootenanny account, with the subject "Delete my Instagram data". We will delete everything we hold within [30] days and confirm by email.
Ad campaigns
If you run ad campaigns through Hootenanny, we store the campaign details you set up (such as the cities, budget and ad content) and the results Meta reports back to us for those campaigns. We do not store the personal details of the people who see or click your ads.
To have your campaign data deleted, email [hello@hootenanny.io] from the address on your Hootenanny account, with the subject "Delete my campaign data". We will delete it within [30] days and confirm by email. Some payment and invoice records may need to be kept for legal and accounting reasons.
